This programme delivers the knowledge and practical skills required to achieve two mandatory units:

• Understanding the Principles and Practices of Externally Assuring the Quality of Assessment
• Externally Assure the Quality of Assessment

You will gain in-depth insight into:

• Key principles and best practices of quality assurance

Programme Structure

Our course begins with a one-day workshop that introduces all core concepts. After the workshop, learners are supported through their journey with one-to-one guidance as they build their EQA competence in real-world settings.

You’ll receive a personalised assessment plan outlining the evidence required to meet each unit’s criteria. To complete the qualification, learners must provide:

• Short written assignments to demonstrate knowledge and understanding
• Evidence from at least two EQA visits at different assessment centres
• Performance evidence from a directly observed EQA visit
