NOS Developers Course
This one day workshop is aimed at people who are required to develop National Occupations Standards (NOS). It introduces the process of functional analysis linked to the specification of national standards of competence. It also introduces the communication skills that developers need if they are to successfully facilitate the development process. The course also looks at how NOS are used to underpin qualifications and can be applied in the workplace to under pin HR functions.
The course will ensure that participants are able to:
- Understand workplace competence
- Undertake functional analysis
- Formulate NOS content
- Are able to use NOS to support the development of qualifications
- Are able to use NOS to support the development of people and organisations
