A one day course aimed specifically at those who are involved in managing the quality of assessments and verifying the assessment process. The course provides an introduction to the skills, techniques and understanding required by verifiers. It looks at the assessment process in detail and explores the ways in which the quality of the assessment process can be maintained.

The course will ensure that participants are able to:

• Understand competence based training and assessment
• Understand the assessment process
• Understand quality assurance within NVQ/SVQ delivery
• Design and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
• Communicate the quality assurance message
